This is a wonderful example of the Harry Fenton designed toby jug - the Jolly Toby. It stands about 6" tall. The jug was produced from 1939 to 1991. In excellent condition.
RDC Store Note: I have noticed that the blue breeches colorway has been a source of confusion for some collectors. The much more common colourway is described as white when in fact it is is more of a very pale blue grey. The much harder to find colourway is described as having blue grey breeches but the blue is a medium blue with some blue gray. It is a little confusing unless you have had the opportunity to see both side-by-side. Unfortunately, more than a few of the Jolly Tobies sold have been represented as blue breeches when in fact they are the pale blue "white" breeches colourway.
