This is a true rarity for the serious seriesware collector in America. Very few items were made in the seriesware line for the U.S. The items produced for the U.S. market were commissioned by specialist china shops or private societies.
This piece finally surfaced a few years ago. Previously it was documented but none were known to exist. This is a small jug (4.5 inches tall)in a Holbein colorway. It was made for Jones, Stratton and McDuffie of Boston, MA a china shop no longer in business. This jug dates to sometime around 1900 - 1917. It is in excellent condition with overall age crazing.
