The Coaching Day series was/is quite popular and has many scenes and shapes. The series was introduced in 1905 and this particualr plate was made in 1928. Very few pieces were made in bone china - this one is. These small square shaped plates are useful as butter pats or for sweets. The plate is roughly 4.5" (12 cm) square. The condition is very good with some paint loss and a scratch or two in the bowl portion of the plate - relatively light use in my estimation.
