The Dickens Jug is among the earliest jugs put into production. It comes as no surprise that the subject matter would be one of Charles Noke's favorites, Charles Dickens. The spout is the bust of Charles Dickens. The embossed characters surrounding the jug are Sydney Carton, Fagin, Bill Sykes, Sam Weller, Mr. Pickwick and Pecksniff. The jug was introduced in 1907. Height is about 6.75". This example is in very good condition with only some minor scratches, no chips or cracks and there are no repairs or restoration.
