From the Royal Doulton Archives is this Burslem Artwares Aquatic Bowl. This is a fantastic example of Sung Flambe with stunning rich blues, reds and greens. Only 150 were ever produced in this limited edition series. Each one is unique because of the unpredictable firing process. Creating flambe pieces is very expensive and there is no more closely guarded company secret than how Royal Doulton creates flambe pieces. Comes in original box. This fabuous piece is in superb, like new condition. It is extremely difficult to capture the beauty of a flambe piece.
